Christmas '09

Ok, so I ran (and walked) my first 5K. Yes, for the record, I almost vomited. KIDDING
My body doesn't hurt as badly as I thought it would. I meet my BFF for a workout tomorrow morning. I ate so much garbage today and feel super gross. Amazing what a few days of healthy eating can do to your body. I feel sooooooo much better without rolls and food ladled in gravy. My sister wants me to run a 5K in January, but I'm not sure if I'll be ready for that. I'll just need to get the info and then decide. What do you think?

Day 2

LONG day today. It started off with a dental appointment (that I almost forgot about) followed by grocery shopping. Had lunch with my ex-sister-in-law. She and I had some really deep conversation. It was wonderful to see her. Then I had a gazillion errands to run after that. Oh, I also got a run in today. I really didn't feel like running today, but with the help of some good music, I was able to make it through. My goal is to get 8 runs in four weeks. This is WAY tougher than I anticipated. I was going to rest tomorrow, but I know I won't run on Christmas or the day after. Must...stay...on...a...schedule.

D-Day (decision day)

Soooo...today I decided to run the Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon next November. My gal-pal, Becca, in Germany has decided to run it with me. I just hope I can keep up. Wish me luck!!! Things I'll need:
1. ipod (check)
2. Nike+ (check)
3. workout plan (not really)
4. proper diet (kinda)
5. a training partner (at least one...wanna join?)
